Fresh of Breath Air-The Donovans
Hey, we’re the Donovans! Well, technically, that picture is of the youngest two Donovans. That is Connor (the taller one) and Patrick (the smaller one), they are our two crazy boys! The picture is from Christmas when I set them up a Hot Cocoa Cove and they loved it! Hence, the goofy smiles in the pic! 🙂
We started this blog in 2021, after the craziness that was 2020 (epidemic, anyone?). We realized that many people needed a reprieve from all the nonsense that goes on in the everyday life and we are aiming to help with that. During 2020, we started the Sunshine Bag initiative. We went and bought as much yellow stuff as we could find, from laundry detergent to candy to makeup to toilet spray, and stuffed that into yellow gift bags and dropped them off all over our town to try to spread a little sunshine. That lead to us starting Fresh of Breath Air a year later.
My name is Akeisha, I will be doing most (probably all) of the writing. My hubby is Ian, he provides the comic relief in the videos we will be doing. We’ve been married since May 2007 and have gone through a lot of difficult things, but we always have fun! One of the things we are trying to teach our amazing boys is they should aim to leave a person better than when they met them. We love to spread light and have heard our boys are pretty good at it, too. We all have our days when we struggle, but if I can look back on my life and know that I have tried to spread light in the darkness, then I will be happy with my life. That is why we are doing this, to spread light into a world that desperately needs it!
